It’s been a whirlwind of travel over the last month for Greenshades. Our roadshow started with the American Payroll Association Congress (APA) show.
APA Congress - Las Vegas
This year was the 40th annual event in Las Vegas, Nevada. The underlying theme of this year's event was to recalibrate and reconnect with peers in person. Motivational speaker Pegine Echevarria encouraged attendees to Refortify, Revisit, and Regroup in Business and Life. Greenshades had lots of conversations about doing payroll differently by taking it in-house and giving your teams the tools to process payroll in-house eliminating the costly monetary float that outsourced companies charge.
It was so great to see payroll professionals traveling again and to network with customers and technology partners. In the picture above we teamed up with Branch to win the team custom contest. Bullhorn - Boston
After APA we hit Boston for the Bullhorn Engage show. Engage is the Premier Staffing and Recruiting tradeshow. At Engage the emphasis was on bringing more efficiencies to a tight labor market. These are not new challenges but by shifting to digital we are given more opportunities to thrive. Technology is critical to addressing a remote and changing workforce. SHRM - New Orleans
Then it was on to New Orleans to SHRM22, where Greenshades joined about 15,000+ HR professionals and industry experts for action-packed days of sessions, networking, and presentations encouraging us to Cause the Effect we want to see in the workplace. SHRM used the Cause the Effect theme to address topics such as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), talent acquisition and retention, workplace culture; and mental health was also prevalent walking through the massive Expo Hall, with tons of solutions to help an HR professional’s any need. The Greenshades team had a great time talking about how our payroll, HR and tax solutions can help empower organizations to create a better employee experience.
