Greenshades was founded and launched our initial tax software. Also signed the longest tenured client (who is still with us today!)

Greenshades brick and mortar location opened in Riverside, Jacksonville, FL. Debuted hosted portal for employees.

HR suite was introduced; launched paystubs online and then "employee desk" which included W4 and I-9 capabilities, basic timesheets, and employee profile functionality.

Greenshades officially services customers in all 50 states and served over 1 million tax forms for the first time.

Late one Saturday at 3 am, one of our employees received a call from the police; they wanted to get in contact with the owner of the building because a car crashed into it. Apparently, our building was hit by a driver involved in a high-speed pursuit.

Launched the benefits management solution and mailed 1 million forms in a single Year-End season for the first time.

Brought focus to team building initiatives and community service opportunities around Jacksonville, FL. These include team events such as Code at the Beach, WaffleDay, and Workgiving (Greenshades spin on Thanksgiving)!

In efforts to replace supplemented payroll with tax and HR, we created an all-in-one payroll platform. During this time we also created our mobile app.

One morning employees showed up to work and found a bunch of kittens stowed away in a car. The fire department came and rescued them, someone even adopted one! If you look at our Google Street view, you can see the commotion.

Love was in the air when we celebrated our first Greenshades wedding - Lauren Teuber (now Lauren Morris) and Patrick Morris.

This year Greenshades has updated the branding, launched a new website, maintains a customer base of 3,500 customers servicing 2.5 million employees, and is getting ready to host GLUG, the first Greenshades Live User Group.
