How we got here
Building for the edge cases
We started with payroll tax compliance: the rules, filings, and deadlines that leave little room for error. As customers brought us new challenges, we kept building, expanding into the connected payroll and workforce platform we are today.

Starting with the hard part
Greenshades began by helping employers navigate complex tax compliance. That work built the regulatory knowledge, integrations, and attention to detail that still shape our platform today.

Bringing employees online
We introduced a hosted employee portal, giving workers direct access to important payroll information and beginning our expansion into the broader employee experience.

Reaching every state
Greenshades began serving customers in all 50 states and processed more than one million tax forms for the first time.

Investing in the next chapter
By our 20th year, Greenshades had grown from a tax compliance solution into a connected platform spanning payroll, HR, benefits, and employee self-service. New investment gave us additional resources to accelerate that work. -
2025–Today
New leadership, same foundation
Vince Murdica became CEO while co-founder David Rosas moved into a senior advisory role. Today, more than 4,000 companies rely on Greenshades to handle complex payroll, HR, and tax compliance.
