1. Events Impacting the “World of Work”

No matter the industry, size of company, or the number of employees – national and international events will always impact organizations. Already in 2022, there have been plenty of external events that have left the “world of work” with many challenges, including:  

• Inflation (8.3% in April of 2022, alone – that’s a 40-year high!)

It means we are about to enter another year of change. Mental health-driven exits from companies means employee stress is up. With everything that’s going on right now, this reminds us that there is a need for a work/life balance, and money is no longer enough to get people to stay.
